Candy Cane Frozen Mousse


 Prep Time: 10 Minutes          Cook Time: 0 Minutes           Yield: 6 to 8 servings

Ingredients
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup crushed candy canes: peppermint, cinnamon or wintergreen
2 cups (1 pint) heavy cream, whipped

Instructions
BEAT cream cheese until fluffy in large bowl. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Stir in crushed candy. Fold in whipped cream.
POUR into serving dish; cover. Freeze 6 hours or until firm.  Can be made a few days ahead; garnish as desired.
Serve with brownies or shortbread cookies.

  1. I can just picture this inbetween two layers of a chocolate cake - that is then frosted with Cool Whip. Yum!

  3. How about Peppermint Truffle Cake? LOL - it sounds so decadent and rich...dress the sides of the cake with crushed candy cane too.

    OK, I might whip up a sample of it this week - we got my mouth watering for it!

  4. Truffle Cake does more accurately describe the cake....that name sounds good! Since it's easier to put the crushed peppermint candy on the top, i would do that. I'm thinking 1/2 cup....let's post on our blogs!
